The event is a world trade simulation for high school students and is modeled after curriculum from Boise State University. Students compete and learn about globalization, international economics and what it takes to make highly interdependent nations competitive in today’s global environment.
Teams of students represented 25 different countries, gathering in the gymnasium to build trade alliances, secure resources through imports and exports, invest in long-term projects, and test their knowledge of geography, economics and current events.
