Paul Williams is the award-winning songwriter behind songs that have become part of the soundtrack of generations, including the Carpenters’ “We’ve Only Just Begun” and “Rainy Days and Mondays,” “The Rainbow Connection” from The Muppet Movie, and “Evergreen” from A Star Is Born. Williams won an Academy Award for “Evergreen,” and his remarkable career has earned him Grammy Awards, Golden Globe recognition and induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Beyond songwriting, Williams is a celebrated composer, singer, actor and entertainer, with a career spanning music, film and television. PLATINUM — $150 The exclusive “Meet. Capture. Remember.” experience includes a meet &amp; greet and photo opportunity with Paul Williams, priority seating, afternoon tea, savory hors d’oeuvres and access to the silent auction.Proceeds from Storytellers Tea will benefit Christian Outreach in Action, a Long Beach nonprofit that has served neighbors in need for more than 40 years. COA provides essential resources including daily hot meals, food assistance, diapers, clothing, hygiene supplies, furniture and household goods, holiday assistance and other basic necessities to individuals and families throughout the community.
