Voyager says that its new Long Beach location expands the company's ability across civil, national security, and commercial space missions.
LONG BEACH, CA — Defense and space company Voyager Technologies has just opened a 140,000-square-foot facility in Long Beach, the company announced March 12.
"We are moving fast from design to build, test and fielded capability, and this facility gives us access to world-class talent, a proven aerospace ecosystem and the collaborative energy of companies that are all pushing in the same direction," the company's president of Space, Defense & National Security, Matt Magaña said in a statement.
"Occupancy is immediate and we expect to be fully operational by the end of the year," a company spokesperson told Patch. "There will be 150-200 employees (in the building)."

"This investment," Mayor Rex Richardson said, "brings high-skilled jobs, strengthens our local economy, and further establishes Long Beach as a national hub for the industries shaping our future."
