The Belmont Shore Model Railroad Club and The Angels Gate Hi-Railers Club will be hosting a Model Railroad Open House during the weekend of October 27 & 28 , in Angels Gate Park, San Pedro. The Belmont Shore Model R.R. N-scale layout is the largest of its kind in the South Bay area as is the O-scale layout of the Hi-Railers.
The public is invited to watch steam and modern diesel locomotives, freight and passenger trains come to life through twenty scale miles of open track, well appointed with detailed buildings and scenery of the golden age of railroading. Club members will be on hand to give tours and answer questions.
Hours on Saturday and Sunday are 10 A.M to 4 P.M. A model railroading swap meet will be held Saturday morning, from 8 A.M.- 12 Noon.
