Fire Damages Dogz Bar And Grill In Long Beach
The restaurant was scheduled to reopen in a few weeks after its closure in January of 2017 due to flooding, according to reports.

LONG BEACH, CA – A fire damaged a commercial building, including a restaurant, in Long Beach Tuesday but no one was hurt. The fire was reported about 5:30 a.m. in the 5300 block of East Second Street, the Long Beach Fire Department reported. Firefighters extinguished the flames in about an hour and contained the fire to one unit in the building.
The fire damaged a building that housed Dogz Bar and Grill, gutting the restaurant weeks before it was scheduled to reopen after its closure in January of 2017 due to flooding, the Long Beach Press-Telegram reported.
Traffic was routed away from the area while an investigation was conducted into the cause of the fire.
