American Airlines, Alaska Airlines, Jet Blue Affected by Sabre Outage
Sabre Corp. is a systems provider for air bookings in North America.

A technical issue impacted multiple airline carriers Friday, including at least Jet Blue Airlines, American Airlines and Alaska Airlines.
In an emailed statement to Patch, American Airlines said Sabre, a systems provider for air bookings in North America, had a brief technical issue that impacted multiple carriers, including American. The airline said the technical issue had been resolved.
"We apologize to our customers for the inconvenience,” the statement said.

Alaska Airlines also said it experienced a technical issue with Sabre Corp. The airline said the issue prevented Alaska Airlines agents from performing some functions around customer reservations and check-in.
"Airlines around the country who use Sabre reported similar technical issues including American and Hawaiian," the statement from Alaska Airlines said.

While the issue has been resolved, Alaska said it experienced 15 flight delays, with an impact of between five and 15 minutes. The airline apologized for any inconvenience caused to customers.
Jet Blue reported on Twitter that its systems are being restored following the outage.
Multiple travelers took to Twitter to report the problems.
Sabre Corp. said its systems have since recovered.
