Fuego At Hotel Maya Hosts ‘Dia de Los Muertos’ Party

Fuego guests celebrate “Dia de Los Muertos” with Sugar Skull Face Painting and Live Salsa music throughout the evening on Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at Hotel Maya in Long Beach, Calif. More than 200 guests reveled in one of the most important Mexican holidays as death was celebrated and the departed were honored. Hotel Maya also had a special artistic and beautiful alter set-up in Fuego and encouraged guests to bring artifacts to remember passed loved ones. The Fuego “Dia de Los Muertos” party featured a variety of drink and food specials including a Tamales station, a Guacamole Bar and a Fuego Taco Cart, along with tequila sampling, specialty margaritas and various Mexican beers. Fuego, the modern, Latin infused indoor-outdoor restaurant and lounge, offers a unique seaside setting with stunning open-air views that include the Pacific Ocean, Long Beach skyline and Queen Mary.
