Fuego's Mother’s Day Champagne Brunch At The Water’s Edge

It’s a champagne brunch celebration for mom on Mother’s Day in Fuego at Hotel Maya on Sunday, May 13 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fuego will also present live Latin music with a special guest female vocalist at the water’s edge.

Hotel Maya and Fuego Mother’s Day Brunch guests will also enjoy an interactive children’s arts and crafts area and face painting fun.

Fuego, the modern, Latin infused indoor-outdoor restaurant and lounge, offers a unique seaside setting featuring 13-foot-tall glass walls that fully retract with seating inside and on the patio area. Fuego’s stunning open-air views include the Pacific Ocean, Long Beach skyline and Queen Mary.

For Mother’s Day Brunch, Executive Chef Victor Juarez has prepared a delicious meal that begins with sensational Salads featuring Spring Fuego Green Salad; Chopped Romaine with Tijuana Caesar dressing; Brussels Sprouts with bacon, red onion and sweet soy dressing; Quinoa with dried fruits, pecans, parsley and red wine vinaigrette; Spring Kale and Berries with broken raspberry vinaigrette; and Roasted Beets Salad with pepper escabeche, pepitas and goat cheese.

Platters & Displays include Antipasto with roasted vegetables, olives and artichokes; Smoked Salmon with mini bagels, cream cheese and traditional condiments; Chilled Seafood including jumbo gulf shrimp, Alaskan king crab legs, along with cocktail sauce and horseradish aïoli; Ceviche featuring Mahi-Mahi, Steamed Shrimp and Hojas de Sea Bass; as well as Imported and Domestic Cheeses and Charcuterie Station, Fresh Fruit, Melon and Seasonal Berries and Heirloom Tomatoes and Buffalo Mozzarella.

Fuego Taco Station offers Cilantro Jalapeno Grilled Skirt Steak, Tequila Lime Chicken and Mahi-Mahi, along with fresh homemade salsas.

A specialty Omelets and Waffles Station includes Omelets and Eggs made to order with the choice of meats and vegetables. Waffles come with sweetened condensed milk, dulce de leche, cinnamon whipped cream and strawberries.

Fuego’s holiday Carving Station features prime rib of beef, creamed horseradish and sweet garlic demi-glace.

Mother’s Day Entrées include a choice of Fuego Eggs Benedict with spinach, applewood smoked bacon and hollandaise; Grilled New York Steak with red chimmichurri, pepper escabeche and cotija; Yucatán Beef Barbacoa with adobo braised short prime rib; Seared Fillet of Salmon with orange chipotle glaze; or Fuego Chili Rubbed Boneless Chicken Breast; along with Spinach Mushroom Risotto and Spring Roasted Vegetables.
