Guests Will Gobble Up Fuego’s Four-Course Thanksgiving Feast

Thanksgiving meal features a delicious, traditional four-course holiday feast with all the trimmings

Guests are set to gobble up Fuego’s four-course Thanksgiving feast featuring a delicious, traditional holiday meal with all the trimmings at Hotel Maya on Thursday, November 23 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Live music will be played from 2-7 p.m. and Fuego will feature a unique holiday drink "Spiced Cider" with spiced rum and apple cider. Guests will also be able to order from Fuego’s al la carte menu throughout the day.

Fuego, the modern, Latin infused indoor-outdoor restaurant and lounge, offers a unique seaside setting featuring 13-foot-tall glass walls that fully retract with seating inside and on the patio area. Fuego’s stunning open-air views include the Pacific Ocean, Long Beach skyline and Queen Mary.

“Thanksgiving meal in Fuego is a feast for our guests as Executive Chef Juarez prepares a traditional meal with all the trimmings, along with a little Latin flair,” said Jeff Dieter, Director of Restaurants at Hotel Maya - a DoubleTree by Hilton. “Guests also have many options to work off that holiday feast with a variety of family games situated throughout the property, walking paths along the waterfront and bicycle rentals for the more adventurous. Of course, relaxing with a drink on Fuego’s patio at the water’s edge is a viable option too.”

Executive Chef Victor Juarez has prepared a delicious four-course homemade Thanksgiving Day meal that begins with Sweet Corn and Potato Soup with corn radish and chili oil.

Fuego’s second course is a selection of Roasted Acorn and Mushroom Salad with fermented cranberries, feta cheese and Zinfandel citrus vinaigrette; or Ember Charred Beets with baby romaine hearts, heirloom beets, whipped goat cheese, roasted corn and walnut vinaigrette.

Guests will enjoy a holiday entree selection of Roasted Turkey Breast with mushrooms, leeks and brioche stuffing, orange peels cranberry compote, roasted garlic mashed potatoes and classic turkey gravy; Braised Beef Short Rib with juniper berry and port reduction, lardon fried Brussels sprouts and celery root potato purée; Roast Herbed Rack of Lamb with herbed-crusted Australian lamb, Dijon pepper demi glace, Swiss chard, maple glazed heirloom carrots and roasted garlic mashed potatoes; or Pan-Seared Salmon with pomegranate mustard seed sauce, sautéed Swiss chard and lemon potato purée.

Fuego’s fourth course features delicious desserts with a selection of Pumpkin Flan with spiced pumpkin seed, caramel sauce and liquor scented cream; or Apple Pumpkin Cheese Cake with cinnamon orange cream and Tahitian vanilla sauce.

Thanksgiving guests will also enjoy complimentary coffee, decaffeinated coffee, tea, juice and soft drinks.
