James Republic in Long Beach Celebrates Seasonality with Sunday Night Dinner Bell Series
The three-course menu is created from the local Sunday Farmers Market ingredients.

James Republic, a Chef Dean James Max destination restaurant known nationally for a commitment to sustainability, celebrates the very best in seasonality with a “Sunday Night Dinner Bell” monthly series. The next three event dates are Sunday, September 14, Sunday, October 19 and Sunday, November 23.
One of Long Beach’s most celebrated restaurants, James Republic is dedicated to providing locally sourced bounty from local purveyors. The dinner is prepared by Chef/Restaurateur Dean James Max and JamesRepublic’s Executive Chef David MacLennan. Local farmers in attendance include representatives from Tamai Farms, Weiser Farms and Gamma Farms to name a few. The chefs and farmers take an active part in the dinner conversation, as guests enjoy communal table style seating.

The September 14th “Dinner Bell” bountiful family-style menu is inspired from the chefs’ early morning visit to the local Farmer’s Market. The event begins at 4:30pm with market-inspired passed cocktails and canapés. The Dinner Bell rings at 5pm with everyone gathering family-style to enjoy a selection of specially paired California wines to complement the one-of-a-kind menu.
