Jewish Long Beach Plans Peaceful Vigil at City Hall

This effort is in concert with the proclamation that is being presented that evening from the City's Equity & Human Relations Commission.

Jewish Long Beach and the Alpert Jewish Community Center is coordinating a Jewish community peace vigil for outside Long Beach City Hall, prior to the Council meeting on December 19, 2023 at 4:00 pm.

This effort is in concert with the proclamation that is being presented that evening at the urging of the City’s Equity and Human Relations Commission.

“We have been actively and diligently working with City Council to create language that keeps Long Beach the City that it has always been--a city that values and is committed to equity for all who live here,” said Deborah Goldfarb, the organization’s CEO.
