The event paired students with a police employee for a morning of shopping at a local Target store. Each student received a $100 shopping spree to buy toys, clothes and other items of their choice, along with a bag of groceries and a “Shop with a Cop” T-shirt.
Before embarking on their shopping spree, students were treated to a pancake breakfast provided by Norms. Long Beach Transit provided transportation to and from the event.
