NEED HELP PAYING RENT FOR YOUR SMALL BUSINESS?
The Long Beach Commercial Rental Assistance Grant (CRAG) is designed to assist eligible small business owners to pay their rent. CRAG will provide financial relief to small businesses located in CDBG low-to-moderate income areas (map here: https://bit.ly/CDBGMap) that have lost revenue as a result of COVID-19 and State and Local Health Orders. Up to $4,000 may be available to cover commercial lease payments that have or will come due between April 1, 2020, through December 31, 2021.

HOW IT WORKS
Eligible business owners who participate in CRAG may receive grants up to $4,000 to help pay commercial lease payments that are outstanding or will become due, in the 2021 calendar year. Call us if you need help to determine eligibility at (562) 570-4249 or send an email to 4biz@longbeach.gov.

HOW TO GET READY TO APPLY
- Determine if your business is located in a CDBG area by clicking on the map link above, or calling our BizCare Hotline at (562) 570-4249 to check on your location. You can also email BizCare Staff at 4biz@longbeach.gov
2. Gather the following documentation:
- Current commercial lease/rental agreement
- Landlord contact information
- W-9; Request for Taxpayer ID number and certification
- Copy of photo ID

The CRAG Program is funded by the emergency grant funds from the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act Community Development Block Grant Coronavirus (CDBG CV-3) allocation. The program is established to provide assistance exclusively to businesses within low-to-moderate income areas in Long Beach.
