Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce Honors 'Women of Excellence'

Since 2014 the Women’s Business Council (WBC) has been honoring women in the community during its “Women of Excellence” dinner, which was held this year on September 27 at The Grand in Long Beach. Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce “Women of Excellence” Program award recipients from left to right Rhiannon Acree, President of Cambrian Homecare and Chair of the Board of the Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, and Program Moderator; Crystal Ortiz, Co-Founder Twice New Foundation, Outstanding Community Leader award; Sumer Temple, Owner of Don Temple Storage, Outstanding Woman in Business award; Leslie Saito, Long Beach Unified School District, Outstanding Woman in Education award; and Kathryn Couch, Owner of Tinsel & Bow Gifting Services, Marathon’s Small Business Grant recipient.
The WBC is a committee of the Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, which provides a supportive environment for business professionals to network, achieve personal growth and contribute to the betterment of the Long Beach community.
