Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce Presents Its ‘132nd Annual Gala’

The Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce is taking flight to celebrate its “132nd Annual Gala” at the Westin Long Beach Hotel on Thursday, June 29 from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m.

This will be The Chamber’s occasion to present its esteemed “Destination Tomorrow Award” to Long Beach Airport as they celebrate their 100th anniversary.

The Chamber will also honor two outstanding leaders who have made enormous contributions to its organization, the business community and the companies that they represent:

- Outgoing Chair of The Board Rhiannon Acree, President, Cambrian Homecare

- Incoming Chair of The Board Trini Jimenez, Vice President, Public Affairs, Watson Land Company

In addition to the Gala’s awards and honors, the evening’s program will include a VIP Reception and Entertainment at 5:30 p.m., General Reception at 5:45 p.m., and Dinner, Program and Entertainment at 6:45 p.m. Black tie is optional.

“Now in its 132nd year, The Chamber is stronger than ever with continued growth in membership revenue, new members acquisition and increased program engagement and representation in every facet of the Long Beach business community,” said Jeremy Harris, President and CEO of the Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce. “We are fortunate to continue to have strong leadership over the years, most recently with outgoing chair Rhiannon Acree and incoming chair Trini Jimenez, our board of directors and the Chamber team.”

The Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce’s “132nd Annual Gala” is open to the public, but advance registration is required. The Westin Long Beach Hotel is located at 333 E. Ocean Blvd., Long Beach, CA 90802. Complimentary parking will be provided.
