Long Beach Child Sex Trafficker Sentenced
Four years after Gregory Wilson was arrested on child-trafficking charges, he'll start serving 61 years to life in prison.
LONG BEACH, CA — A four-year-long investigation ended with a Long Beach man being sentenced to 61 years to life in prison for child sex trafficking Monday, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Gregory Wilson, 28, was convicted of six felony counts including two counts of human trafficking of a minor by force or fear, human trafficking of an adult, inflicting great bodily injury during the commission of human trafficking, criminal threats, kidnapping and kidnapping an unresisting minor.
The LBPD investigation began on Feb. 20, 2018 after the police department's Vice Investigation Detail discovered a commercial sex advertisement online that was posted by a minor. Detectives were able to rescue two minors and one adult who were victims of Wilson.

"Throughout the investigation, detectives gathered sufficient evidence and were able to identify a suspect responsible for the incidents," according to an LBPD statement.
Wilson was arrested on June 23, 2018 in Compton on an arrest warrant connected to the case. The jury trial concluded on April 22, 2022, and Wilson was found guilty on all six felony counts.
