Long Beach Restaurant Exposed For Secretly Serving Popeyes Chicken
A Yelp reviewer reportedly saw an employee carrying boxes of Popeyes Louisiana Chicken into the kitchen.

LONG BEACH, CA – A Long Beach restaurant, Sweet Dixie Kitchen, is under scrutiny after customers found out the restaurant was serving Popeyes Louisiana Chicken. The problems started after a customer wrote a Yelp review alleging that Sweet Dixie employees were seen carrying Popeyes boxes into the kitchen.
The Yelp reviewer reportedly ordered the chicken and waffles entree to confirm that suspicion and ate what tasted like Popeyes chicken. After asking the server how the restaurant prepared its fried chicken, the server confirmed they did, in fact, use Popeyes.
Restaurant owner Kimberly Sanchez told ABC that most of her "stuff from here is made from scratch." In her response to the Yelp reviewer, she wrote:

“We PROUDLY SERVE Popeyes' spicy tenders — the best fried chicken anywhere and from New Orleans — which are delivered twice a day. We also, in case you need to know, buy our gumbo from a friend who sells it at a local farmers market.”
Sanchez told Fox News that she started using Popeyes two months ago for their fried chicken and waffles and their fried chicken sandwich. Sanchez said she tried chicken from Costco and Restaurant Depot, but she knew Popeyes was the chicken they had to use for the store because it's the best.

Sanchez told ABC that she's reached out to Popeye's for approval to officially add them to her menu, but hasn't heard back yet.
