Man Shot In Long Beach, Takes Himself To Hospital
A man drove himself to a nearby hospital Tuesday morning after he was non-fatally shot while walking down the street in Long Beach.
LONG BEACH, CA — A man drove himself to a nearby hospital Tuesday morning after he was non-fatally shot while walking down the street near Delta Avenue and Wardlow Road, according to Long Beach Police.
Officers received a report from a local hospital at around 5:53 a.m. about a man who had a gunshot wound in his lower body. According to police, the victim said he was walking in the area when he heard gunshots and was hit by gunfire.
LBPD officers visited the area where the man said he was shot, but said they were unable to locate a crime scene.
