Neighbor Dispute Leads To Stabbing In Long Beach: Police Investigation Continues

An investigation is ongoing, police say.

LONG BEACH, CA — A dispute between neighbors led to a stabbing in the North Alamitos Beach neighborhood of Long Beach on Monday, police say.

Officers responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon in the 800 block of Cerritos Avenue just after 9 a.m., the Long Beach Police Department said.

Initial investigation shows two men “were involved in a neighbor dispute" that escalated into a stabbing, police said.

Rescuers with the Long Beach Fire Department took the injured man to a hospital, police said.

Officers were unable to find a suspect, police said, adding that an investigation is ongoing.
