How much is this one trend in Long Beach short term rentals affecting the local housing crisis?

Recently I stayed in a number of Long Beach, CA and surrounding AirBnB's while waiting to take possession of an apartment I and my partner leased. I noticed a trend in these short term rentals that makes me wonder if they are contributing to people being priced out of the Long Beach, Ca rental market. How much are they contributing to the #HousingCrisis in #LongBeachCA ? In this youtube video I explain the trend and what I think it means.
