LONG BEACH, CA – An elderly woman who was walking when she was hit by a car in Long Beach died Tuesday at a hospital. The woman, who was in her 70s, was injured about 9 p.m. Monday at Wardlow Road and Magnolia Avenue, the Long Beach Police Department reported. Authorities were working to identify the woman. The motorist cooperated with police, and the investigation was continuing. Anyone with information on the case was urged to call (562) 570-7355.
