Pedestrian Hit By Car Dies In Long Beach Hospital

The woman, who was in her 70s, died Tuesday at a hospital.

LONG BEACH, CA – An elderly woman who was walking when she was hit by a car in Long Beach died Tuesday at a hospital. The woman, who was in her 70s, was injured about 9 p.m. Monday at Wardlow Road and Magnolia Avenue, the Long Beach Police Department reported.

Authorities were working to identify the woman. The motorist cooperated with police, and the investigation was continuing.
