Worker Secretly Filmed Men In Police Department Bathroom: Cops
The Long Beach Police Department clerk typist was suspended and arrested after "suspicious" activity was reported, officials said.

LONG BEACH, CA – A 28-year-old clerk typist with the Long Beach Police Department was arrested for allegedly photographing and videotaping bathroom users without their knowledge after another employee reported "suspicious activity" in a men’s restroom, officials said today.
A department investigation was launched after the employee on Friday informed his supervisor of the restroom incident that reportedly took place on the second floor of the Public Safety Building, located at 400 W. Broadway, Long Beach police said.
"Within hours of the initial report, detectives discovered that a civilian police department employee had been photographing and videotaping other employees in the same restroom," the agency said.

Sergio Nieto, a Downey resident, was arrested and booked at the Signal Hill Police Department "to avoid a conflict of interest with his work site," authorities said.
Considered a civilian worker with the police department, Nieto's court date is set for July 25 in Long Beach Superior Court, and he was placed on suspension pending the results of criminal and administrative investigations, police said, adding that all department employees were notified of the arrest.
