Police Searching For Man Who Disappeared After Walking Away From Long Beach Home

Long Beach Police are searching for an at-risk man who was last seen on foot about 3 p.m. Saturday.

LONG BEACH, CA — Long Beach police are searching for a 92-year-old missing man.

It's believed that Joe McGiffert left his residence in the 300 block of Pacific Avenue on foot about 3 p.m. Saturday, the Long Beach Police Department reported. He has no cell phone or other means of being tracked and has medical conditions that may disorient him.

McGiffert is Black, 5 feet, 6 inches tall, 120 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a black jacket, black jeans and black shoes and a ``Lakers'' lanyard with keys.
