Resident Calls 911 After Bullet Pierces Wall At Long Beach Home: Police Say

Detectives are working to determine suspect information, according to police.

LONG BEACH, CA —A resident called 911 after a bullet pierced the interior wall of a Long Beach home, police say.

Officers responded to the 500 block of East Sixth Street about a “shots call” shortly after 6 p.m. Friday, the Long Beach Police Department said.

When officers arrived, they spoke with the resident, “who found a bullet struck an interior wall of their residence,” police said.

Officers confirmed a shooting had occurred based on the strike marks, according to police.

Police said officers collected evidence, adding that detectives are working to determine suspect information.
