Woman, 2 Boys Arrested In Long Beach Robberies

Police suspect the trio were involved in a robbery conspiracy in the los Coyotes, Spring Street and Studebaker areas.

LONG BEACH, CA — Long Beach police Friday announced the arrests of a woman and two boys for allegedly carrying out a series of robberies in May.

Marissa Maxie, 21, of Carson, was arrested and booked Aug. 13 on suspicion of robbery and conspiracy. The two juvenile suspects, who are both 17 and whose names were not released due to their ages, were booked on suspicion of theft.

One of the juvenile suspects was taken into custody Oct. 3 in Long Beach, while the other was arrested on Sept. 10 in Lakewood.

The trio are suspected in robberies that occurred at:

  • Harco Street and Los Coyotes Diagonal on May 17th around 3 p.m.;
  • Spring Street and Palo Verde Avenue on May 30th around 2:53 p.m.;
  • Spring Street and Knoxville Avenue on May 30th around 3 p.m.; and
  • Studebaker Road and Keynote Street on May 30th around 3:09 p.m.
