LOS ANGELES, CA — A 15-year-old boy was wounded in a shooting in the Green Meadows area of South Los Angeles Saturday.

The shooting was reported at 4:45 p.m. Saturday at Century and Avalon boulevards, according to Los Angeles Police Department Officer D. Orris.

The boy was standing outdoors in the commercial area when the suspect walked up to him, Orris said. They got into an argument and the suspect shot the teen victim.

The boy was taken by ambulance to a hospital where he had stable vital signs, the officer said.

The suspect ran away.
