An Oregon woman is suing Trader Joe's after she claimed to have found the fingertip of a rubber glove in her glass of orange juice — and may have accidentally consumed a human fingertip when drinking the contaminated OJ, according to reports.
Julee O’Neil claims she bought a 52-ounce bottle of Orange Juice from a Portland, Oregon Trader Joe’s last June. When drinking the juice, she claimed she “felt like there was a large piece of pulp in her mouth,” KOIN reported, citing court documents.
"When she pulled it out, however, it was the finger tip end of a rubber glove,” the woman claimed in court documents, according to People.
The court complaint continues: The woman believed the glove part “might have also contained the end of a human finger … which she may have inadvertently swallowed or ingested as well.”
The lawsuit claims that she immediately experienced physical symptoms, including gabbing, nausea and a burning sensation in her mouth, People reported.
The Monrovia-based company has not released a statement regarding the lawsuit.
KGW reported that O'Neil has filed several previous lawsuits over the last decade.
Among them: A lawsuit against a driver she claimed rear-ended her, a slip-and-fall claim against Starbucks, and a suit against a massage therapist she claimed damaged her neck.
