LOS ANGELES, CA — Service was impacted on the Metro A Line Tuesday morning after a vehicle collided with a train.
The collision occurred just before 8 a.m. near 114th Street and Wilmington Avenue in Watts, just north of the Willowbrook - Rosa Parks Station, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
All passengers were assessed and all declined to be hospitalized.
As of 8:45 a.m., southbound trains were turning back at the 103rd/Watts Towers station and northbound trains were turning back at the Compton Station, according to Metro. Shuttle buses were being organized to allow A Line riders to travel through the shut-down area.
Officials urged riders to consider bus lines 55 and 202 as an alternative.
