Firefighters Rescue Patient Stuck Under Van In Florence Area

LOS ANGELES, CA — Firefighters rescued a person Saturday who became stuck under a van while performing maintenance.

The situation was reported at 8:09 p.m. Saturday at 151 W. 59th Place, between Broadway and Main Street, in the Florence neighborhood, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Jamie Stewart.

Firefighters used technical rescue methods to get the male patient out from under the van, and he was taken to a hospital for treatment, Stewart said.
