LOS ANGELES, CA — Paramedics rushed a hiker to a hospital Saturday after an approximately 50-feet fall from a trail in the Griffith Park area.
The condition of the hiker was not immediately clear.
Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at 11:42 a.m. Saturday to the 2900 block of North Vermont Canyon Road, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
"LAFD Air Operations performed a `Capture' operation and rescued the patient," the LAFD's Jamie Stewart said. "Patient was evaluated medically and transported to a local hospital."
