LASD Seeks Non-Custodial Father And Allegedly Abducted 8-Year-Old Son

They were last seen on Sunday in the 5900 block of Northside Drive, near Olympic Boulevard, authorities said.

EAST LOS ANGELES, CA — An Endangered Missing Alert was in effect Wednesday in Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, Kern and San Diego counties for an 8-year-old boy and his non-custodial father in what authorities described as a case of parental abduction.

Decky Sanchez, 36, and the child, Aizen Alek Sanchez, were last seen on Sunday in the 5900 block of Northside Drive, near Olympic Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Both father and son are described as Latino. Aizen Sanchez is 4 feet tall, weighs 80 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a white shirt and olive/gray shorts when last seen. Decky Sanchez is 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 185 pounds and has black hair, brown eyes and tattoos on his face. He was wearing a black and blue shirt and blue jeans when last seen.

The alert was issued Tuesday by the California Highway Patrol on behalf of the sheriff's department.

Anyone who spots them should call 911 or the East Los Angeles Sheriff's Station at 323-264-4151.
