LOS ANGELES, CA — Raising Cane's is opening its second Westside restaurant next week in Westwood.
The new location, at Broxton and Weyburn avenues in Westwood Village, is scheduled to open at 10 a.m. July 13, a company spokesperson told Patch.
To mark the opening, the company plans a series of giveaways and events.
A drawing will award 20 customers free Raising Cane's for a year. Entries will be accepted from 8 to 9 a.m. on opening day, with winners selected shortly afterward. Participants must be present to win.
The restaurant's first customer in line will also receive a gift basket.
Opening-day festivities will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, live entertainment and a $1,000 donation to Friends of Westwood Library.
The restaurant will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.
Cane's is in the midst of a rapid expansion nationwide and in California.
Last month, the chain opened its first Westside location in Santa Monica. That's one of several restaurants that's already open or will open soon in Southern California this year.
