LOS ANGELES, CA — A two-vehicle crash involving a Waymo vehicle Sunday left a woman critically injured and another person in the hospital, authorities said.
Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at 5:44 a.m. Sunday to 1026 W. Venice Blvd., in the Pico-Union area, on an initial report of an auto- vs.-pedestrian crash, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. They rushed two people to a hospital.
The Los Angeles Police Department said police officers were dispatched to the scene at 5:45 a.m. for a two-vehicle crash, adding that a woman was critically injured.
No further information was provided, but news video from the scene showed the Waymo and a sedan in the middle of the street with serious body damage to each vehicle.
