LOS ANGELES, CA — A domestic violence call led to a suspect barricaded and a victim held against her will before a SWAT team intervened Monday in the Harvard Heights area of Los Angeles.
Officers responded about 11:54 p.m. Sunday to a call of unknown trouble in the 11000 block of Harvard Boulevard and learned there was a man suspected of domestic violence barricaded along with a victim who had possibly called for help, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
A SWAT team was deployed and eventually was able to rescue the victim before taking the suspect into custody around 4:45 a.m., according to the LAPD.
Video from the scene showed a huge police presence on scene, arrest of the suspect and police helping the victim to safety.
