INDUSTRY, CA — Authorities released new details Sunday about the shooting death of a man in Industry.
The shooting occurred shortly after 7 a.m. Saturday in the 13000 block of Crossroads Parkway North, just north of the Pomona (60) Freeway, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies responded to the location after a report of an "assault with a deadly weapon, gunshot victim" and found the man on the ground next to a vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds, the Sheriff's Information Bureau reported.
Deputies immediately began life-saving measures, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. No motive or suspect description was immediately available.
