1 Killed In 3-Vehicle Crash On 110 Freeway

The crash was reported at 8:10 p.m. Monday on the southbound freeway.

LOS ANGELES, CA — One person was killed and four were hospitalized in a three-vehicle crash on the Harbor (110) Freeway in the Broadway- Manchester area of Los Angeles, authorities said Tuesday.

The crash was reported at 8:10 p.m. Monday on the southbound Harbor Freeway just north of the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A witness told the CHP a white sedan overturned several times.

Three vehicles were involved and one person was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Lyndsey Lantz. Four people were taken to hospitals for treatment of their injuries.

A Sigalert was issued at about 8:20 p.m. shutting down all southbound lanes north of the Glenn Anderson Freeway. The Express Lanes were reopened at 9:03 p.m., leaving lanes 1-4 closed.

The Sigalert was cancelled and the lanes were reopened at 12:25 a.m. Tuesday.
