LOS ANGELES, CA — Drivers traveling between the Marina Freeway and the 405 Freeway should prepare for a weekend-long closure beginning Friday night, according to Caltrans.
The eastbound 90 (Marina) Freeway connector to the southbound Interstate 405 will be fully closed from 10 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday while crews perform pavement work.
Traffic will be detoured during the closure.
Motorists can continue east on the 90 Freeway past the 405 and exit at Slauson Avenue. From there, drivers should head west on Slauson Avenue, continue west on Jefferson Boulevard and use the southbound 405 on-ramp, according to Caltrans.
Drivers were advised to allow extra travel time and follow posted detour signs.
The closure is part of a $475,000 project to repair damaged approach and roadway slabs.
