Event Details
This Mental Health Awareness Month, take an opportunity to slow down, be present, and channel your creativity. Make a camera-less movie by animating directly on 16mm film while being immersed in a live, ambient sound bath from local musician and artist Anna Luisa Petrisko. Experiment with everyday materials such as markers, tape, pushpins, and ink to create your own vibrant, moving-image collages on celluloid film. We’ll edit the individual strips together and screen them through a 16mm projector, accompanied by a live soundtrack, creating a one-of-a-kind, community-made film.
You can also use celluloid film strips to create a keychain to take home.
