Accessible screening
On the last Saturday of every month, the museum's Family Matinee is an accommodative screening where we offer open captioning, keep the theater dimly lit, and maintain a lower volume specifically for neurodivergent viewers.
Hey, you guys! Come join the Goonies, a ragtag group of kids, on a quest for lost pirate gold in this classic 1980s adventure for the whole family. After finding an old map, the group, led by Mikey (Sean Astin), sets off to find the long-lost treasure of legendary pirate One-Eyed Willy, in hopes of saving their family homes from greedy developers. As the kids make their way through caves rigged with boobytraps, they are aided by the whimsical inventions of Data (future Oscar winner Ke Huy Quan) while avoiding... the Fratellis, a pair of thieving brothers (Joe Pantoliano and Robert Davi) led by Mama Fratelli (the inimitable Anne Ramsey) who plan to find the treasure themselves.
