This fall, step inside The Light We Leave Behind, a limited-run, immersive live music experience that transforms East End Studios in LA’s Arts District into a surreal world of snow, water, light, rain and live music.
Rather than a traditional concert, the approximately two-hour, phone-free experience takes guests through a sequence of environments where music, architecture, hospitality and production become part of the performance itself. Guests journey through a snow-covered lounge featuring a 30-foot tree and complimentary tea before entering a water-filled performance space illuminated by approximately 70 lights synchronized directly to the music. As artist and composer Emmit Fenn performs alongside a small ensemble, the environment evolves around the audience, culminating in rainfall inside the room.
The experience concludes in a gallery featuring drawings, imagery, objects and garments that offer a closer look at the creative process behind the project.
The Light We Leave Behind will run Thursday to Sunday evenings with three performances nightly from September 17th through October 11th.
