LA County Parks Hosts Girls Empowerment Conference on Oct.10 at East LA College

LA County Parks presents the 12^th Annual Girls Empowerment Conference, a FREE event for girls ages 12-18 from diverse communities throughout Los Angeles County features a full day of learning, creativity, connection, and fun. Including workshops, panels, sports/dance activities and much more at East Los Angeles College. Transportation assistance will be available through designated LA County Parks – Our SPOT Teen Center locations.

The Well-Being Village and Resource Fair activities and workshops include: Vision Board Parties; Career Exploration; Women in STEM; Girls in Sports; Dance and Movement; Entrepreneurship; Self-Identity; Positive and Healthy Relationships; Mindfulness and Self-Care; Empowerment and Resiliency; Free lunch, snacks, & more!
