• Three Common Dolphins Freed from Mudflats in Morro Bay (marinemammalcenter.org) — Dolphin rescues in nearby Morro Bay relied heavily on support from the Los Osos community, with volunteers helping save three stranded common dolphins from local mudflats. One dolphin died and another could not be found, but experts are investigating possible causes and urging residents to keep their distance, avoid drones and pets near dolphins, and report sightings to aid ongoing conservation work.
