$10K Grant Available For 1st District Businesses And Contractors

Has your small business, non-profit or employment been negatively affected by COVID-19 shutdown? Now is your chance to apply for a grant.

GARDEN GROVE, CA —A one-time $10,000 grant is available for small businesses, nonprofit organizations and independent contractors in Orange County's First District negatively impacted by COVID-19.

"Many family-owned businesses, nonprofits, and the self-employed, are experiencing financial uncertainties due to the pandemic and the economic ripples it's caused," Do said. "The goal of this grant program is to provide a relief to help keep small businesses in our community open."

The deadline to apply is fast approaching, Supervisor Andrew Do's office reported, Wednesday.

Applications must be received by 5 p.m. Friday at district1grantprogram.com, or by calling 714-657-3300. Completed applications will be entered into the randomized computer-based selection process. Selected applicants will be contacted by email starting August 1.

The district includes Santa Ana, Garden Grove, Westminster, a portion of Fountain Valley, and Midway City.
