2 Found Dead In Seal Beach Home After Welfare Check

Authorities found two bodies inside of a Seal Beach home shortly after an out-of-state call was made to report a domestic issue in the home.

SEAL BEACH, CA — Two adults were found dead in Orange County Wednesday after Seal Beach police officers conducted a welfare check at a house in Old Towne Seal Beach, authorities said.

Seal Beach police officers were dispatches to the 600 block of Ocean Avenue on Wednesday at around 8:30 a.m. regarding an "unknown trouble call at the residence."

According to the SBPD, the call was from an out-of-state relative who reported that their brother was having "issues" with their elderly mother.

Officers arrived to the address and found an unlocked door before entering. Once inside, the responding officers found two bodies.

Seal Beach police detectives and the Orange County Coroner responded to the residence to investigate the deaths, authorities said.
