3 Victims ID'd In Deadly Wrong-Way Crash In Westminster Thursday

The four-vehicle crash killed a total of three people in Westminster on Monday, all of them seniors living in Orange County.

WESTMINSTER, CA — Three fatal victims of a four-vehicle crash in Westminster Monday were identified by police Thursday.

The victims were identified as Westminster resident Tri Dinh Tran, 84; Westminster resident Kim Tuyen Thi Vu, 79; and Victoria McKemy, 75, of Buena Park.

Westminster police officers were dispatched to the crash at 12:51 p.m. in the 14500 block of Beach Boulevard, near Hazard Avenue Monday. Witnesses told police a minivan was speeding northbound in the southbound lanes of Beach Boulevard when it plowed into three other vehicles.

The driver of the minivan was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

A passenger was taken to UC Irvine Medical Center, where she was later pronounced dead, police said.

The driver of another vehicle involved in the crash was taken to UC Irvine Medical Center with a leg injury and was pronounced dead on Wednesday, police said.
