Accused Burglars Plead 'Not Guilty' In Seal Beach Home Invasion
Two Orange County men pleaded 'not guilty' to charges of burglary from Seal Beach home invasion.

SEAL BEACH, CA — On Friday, two Newport area residents accused of carrying out a home-invasion robbery in Seal Beach pleaded 'not guilty.'
Richard Henry Derderian, 33, and Aaron Michael Lipsey, 34, are due back in court Sept. 12 for a pretrial hearing.
"The pair are accused of breaking into a home in the 1100 block of Seal Way in Seal Beach about 4 p.m. Aug. 21, and tying up three men inside before ransacking the house and stealing a safe,'' Seal Beach police Sgt. Michael Henderson said.

The men, both from Costa Mesa, face charges of robbery, burglary, criminal threats and dissuading a witness by force according to the Orange County District Attorney's Office. No charges of armed robbery, even though they stated they were armed there was no gun found, according to Henderson.
Lipsey is also charged with drug possession and sales in a previous case.

"The men, who were arrested Wednesday," Henderson said.
