OC Teacher Arrested, Suspected Of Possessing Child Sexual Abuse Material: Police

Police served a search warrant at both the high school where he worked and his home. Their investigation is ongoing.

BUENA PARK, CA —A teacher at Paramount High School was arrested Thursday by Buena Park police for allegedly possessing child pornography.

Moises Garcia, 56, was arrested at 7 a.m. on suspicion of possession of child sexual abuse material, according to the Buena Park Police Department.

Police said investigators served warrants at his home and at Paramount High School "to obtain further evidence against Garcia."

"Paramount High School has been made aware of the arrest. They are cooperating with the investigation currently," police said in a statement.

No other details were immediately released.
