Lately, I have developed an interest in hiking. There is something so soothing and peaceful to me about exploring the beautiful, naturalistic sites our planet has to offer.
Last weekend I went on another great hiking trail. I was invited by a friend to go on a hike at the Griffith Observatory. It had been a while since I had been up there so I of course I tagged along.

The hike is located directly across from the Griffith Observatory, if you are facing it. The start of the hike feels like you are going through a recreational park and then eventually turns into a steep, dirt and bush kind of hike. Most of the hike requires an uphill climb with loose dirt so it can become kind of difficult to climb, but well worth it. Once you are at the top you have the most amazing view of all of Los Angeles, and as far as the eye can see.

I would recommend for anyone doing this hike to wear comfortable shoes with grip. Take a flashlight in case on the way down the trail it gets dark. I would also recommend to try to make it to the top of the hill right before sunset so you can witness an amazing sunset overlooking the city of Los Angeles.
