A woman was forcibly attacked and thrown into a black sedan Monday evening, in the city of Stanton, Orange County Sheriff's Department says.

STANTON, CA —The Orange County Sheriff's Department released a likeness of a suspect who allegedly attempted to kidnap a 23-year-old woman in the city of Stanton this week.

The woman was walking near the 7000 block of Syracuse Avenue at 7:30 p.m. Monday when she was "grabbed and forcibly pulled into a newer model black sedan," OCSD spokeswoman Carrie Braun said. "She pulled herself free and ran away."

The woman her attacker as "a 6-foot tall white male in his 50s to 60s with an average to heavy build, with gray hair and black eyebrows," Braun said.

He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, and white shoes.
