Biker Killed In High-Speed 22 Freeway Crash

GARDEN GROVE, CA — A motorcyclist was killed in a single-vehicle crash Sunday morning on the Garden Grove (22) Freeway in Garden Grove, authorities said.

The crash occurred a little after 5:45 a.m. on the westbound freeway at Magnolia Street, the California Highway Patrol reported.

Witnesses said the motorcyclist was speeding just prior to the crash.

It was not known whether the motorcyclist died at the scene or an area hospital.
